1. The control valve is a throttling device, belonging to the dynamic component, which is opposite to the inspection component, transmitter, and controller. During the control process, the demand for electric control valves constantly changes the flow area of the flow components, so as to adapt to changes in load or operating conditions. Therefore, higher requirements are put forward for the sealing, pressure resistance, erosion, etc. of electric control valve components. For example, sealing can increase the conflict force of the electric control valve, increase the dead zone of the electric control valve, and cause the control quality of the control system to deteriorate

b. The inspection components can be disconnected from the process medium using techniques such as cutting off liquid, but electric control valves usually come into direct contact with the process medium, making it very difficult to use the cutting off technique to cut off the process medium

4. The throttling of the electric control valve causes energy to be dissipated within the valve trim, so it is necessary to reasonably select and balance low energy consumption, low pressure loss of the electric control valve, and good control quality

5. Electric control valves throttle the fluid while also causing noise. For example, when the outlet pressure of the valve is lower than the vapor pressure of the liquid, it causes flashing; When the downstream pressure of the valve is higher than the liquid vapor pressure, it causes cavitation. The noise generated by electric control valves is related to the flow path plan, operating pressure, controlled medium characteristics, etc. Therefore, low noise and low pressure loss pose higher requirements for electric control valves

6. The electric control valve has strong adaptability. It is installed in various different production processes, and the operating conditions such as low temperature, high temperature, high pressure, large flow rate, and small flow rate during the production process require electric control valves to have various functions, and electric control valves should be able to adapt to different stress requirements
